I was unable to find something useful on that topic, because that topic is very hard to verbalize, very google-unfriendly, and after numerous attempts I give up. And will ask You.

So I’m using Shatter to create an illusion of 3D layer. I add Shatter on a layer created from psd file, depicting book spines on a shelf. My goal is to make those books look 3D (I want them to be extruded, if that’s appropriate expression) and be able to fly above them with a camera.

I’ve noticed that moving my Books layer (with Shatter aded) in front of the camera doesn’t do the job – it behaves like flat layer without a 3D depth. What DOES the job is moving the camera instead. BUT the problem is – where’s my motion blur then???

I’ve tried using Force Motion Blur on Adjustment Layer above my Books Layer, but it take tremendous amount of time to render. So is there any other way to get motion blur on that books? For example – is there any way of making this Shattered Books Layer movable in front of the camera AS A FAKE 3D OBJECT, not flat one?

    Thanx in advance
