  C100 Avid Media Composer Media Creation Video Resolution Settings

  I would really appreciate help with suggestions about what media creation settings to work with my C100 footage in Avid Media Composer.

  The quality of the footage is a priority, that said I am not using an external recorder on my camera.

  I’ve been using DNxHD175, which I see people saying is overkill.
  I’ve been using the J2K 1080p 23.976 MXF video resolution setting.

  This has served me okay on some projects, but I wanted to learn what I actually should be doing from now on.

  Thanks! Hope this becomes useful to others because I’ve had no luck finding answers, and the internet is awash with adverts for a conversion software masquerading as articles about this topic.
