Remote Power On/Off Canon XF-105
The church I work for owns two Canon XF-105’s and we are preparing to mount them for broadcasting our worship services. These models have SDI output, and I’m wondering if there is a way to remotely power them on and off without physically touching the camera, as they will be mounted up and away from easy access. These cameras do have wireless remotes, but the remote doesn’t have a power function on it.
Also, I’m wondering if there is a device for easier remote input, the receiver is on the front of the camera and the position they’ll be mounted in makes it difficult for the camera to receive the signal from the remote.
