Ok im hoping someone will be able to answer this for me as its driving me crazy.

Ive had this camera now for about a month and when i first started filming with it it looked fine but yesterday i had to film some interviews. Now i usually shoot in 25p mode but they wanted these interviews in 50i mode. Now today im looking back at the footage and im not happy at all. It looks like a bluray movie that has had over use of Digital noise reduction used on it. Peoples faces look smudged and there’s no HD clarity at all. It looks awful.

Now i shoot also with the xf300 and that looks perfect but this xf100 looks bad. So questions are

Does anyone know if this is a setting issue if so whats the setting? What is the best sharpness settings on the camera or in fact what are the best settings for the camera full stop.

ive tried using a number of custom presets but they all look the same. im at a loss
