    Hello, hello, hello.

    I’m using a fully-charged Canon XL1S.

I’m trying to use a AKG SE300B microphone as Audio Input 1.

I’ve jacked in the main three prong cable into Audio 1, and the red and white cables into their slots respectively.

I’ve been fiddling around with the selected inputs and audio levels behind the white door, but I’m getting no bars whatsoever. I am sure the camera, mic and cables are working, because I have multiple of each. There is something else wrong here.

Can you help me out here. It feels like I’ve tried all selections and combinations, but I’m not getting any levels. I’ve been at this for hours.

I don’t know the mic but is maybe it needs phantom power? Xl1 is some time a go for me.. maybe it is on ‘line’ in stead of ‘mic’? I also know that the two xlr’s on the back are channel 3 and 4.
