  Canon HF G10

  I have been thinking of getting my own camcorder for 2 years now I guess. As I don’t have much money for it, I had to think about it quite carefully.
  I am thinking of getting HF G10. I am going to shoot sport videos and short films mostly so I think it’s perfect. The HF G10 “on steroids” Canon XA10 has the handle, but I don’t need IR and XLR inputs.

  So I was thinking of getting HF G10 with this kind of solution.

  For interviews and stuff like that some 3,5mm mic would do I guess as I don’t need broadcast quality sound. I am thinking if I have to get additional microphone as well or built in sound would be alright for sport shooting?

  Has anyone got any comments on this? Does this combination makes sense?
