Do all AVCHD cameras use the same compression format? Ie. MPEG4/AVCH.264.

I want to use Canon AVCHD camcorders (HF G10) recording to SDHC cards and then play those cards in a Panasonic TV (TXL24E3B) that supports AVCHD playback from SDHC cards. AFAIK the folder structure on the card is the same for all cameras so the compression format is what will determine compatability between camera and TV. This is going to be for semi portable classroom recording/playback systems so I do not want to transcode the recorded files to play back on the TV, I just want them to play straight off the card.

If the compression format and the folder structure are the same then presumably you could record using one make of camera eg Canon HF G10, and play the card back in another make eg. Panasonic TM900?
