I have a Canon T2i and I am planning to shoot a music video. I have a friend who just purchased a Canon 60D and I want to use him as a second shooter. Will there be a problem editing footage from both cameras? Will there be a distinct dropoff in quality between the T2i and 60D? Also, do you have any advice on setting changes (I have never seen the 60D, are the settings different compared to the T2i?)

Hi Cory, the sensor in the 60D is exactly the same as in the T2i (and 7D). The 60D is more adjustable (ISO, white balance), so adjust it to the T2i. Make sure things like picture style are matched, decide if you want to match aperture, and they should be interchangeable. p.s. I read a lot of owners manuals; https://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras/slr_cameras/eos_60d#BrochuresAndManuals cameras I only hope to work with, I’ll have a clue when I get there. Good luck…ML

Both camera shoot the same video quality and have the same sensor, 60D has the swivel LCD.
    That is all.
