Hi, I currently have a 550D which I use primarily for video. With it I use an 8GB SDHC Integral Ultima Pro card. I was wondering if there are certain cards which work better for video and whether the difference is noticeable. If so could you possibly recommend one please?
    Many thanks…

Hi Mack, video vs stills (except high burst-rate stills) is just a matter of the speed of the card. There are many established brands, but check out https://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/multi_page.asp?cid=6007 for the most thorough testing I’ve found. Good luck, ML

I agree with Michael, we use Sandisk UDMA 45Mbs -60Mbs Extreme IV mainly for High Definiton Video as the 5D mark II runs at 38+ MBps, the slower Ultra Cards work but are slow writing. Not worthwhile taking the risk with rubbish.
