  4 channels of audio in a Canon XHA1s…confused!!

  Hi,

  Is it just me or is there no way to record onto channel 3 and 4 while in HDV mode? I’ve just got this camera as a b-camera and was trying to figure out the audio capabilities and for the life of me I can’t seen to be able to get channel 3/4 to work/appear for me. I’ve been able to get a wireless mic for channel one and the on board mic for channel 2 but that’s all. I previously had an XL1 where I was able to record on channels 3 or 4 with my beech adapter. Am I doing something wrong or is that the extent of audio while in HDV mode?
