  Camcorder advice needed – EXPERTS ONLY

  Hi, i hope somebody can help me.
  I’d like to buy a canon camcorder, but i have a few problems.
  1) I am a white balance freak.
  I need full control.
  Has anyone seen the eos-500d camera, the white balance thing , where you can use the joistick, and set more magenta, blue etc.
  Are there any camcorders that let you finetune so well white balance ?

  2) I need to stay on a budget, no more than 2000 $
  3) Depth of field. I need a camera that has a lot of it.
  I dont’want a viodeo camera taht is like a photo camera, where to have a lot of depth of field, you need f22. You know what i mean. Really professional camcorders are camera that do many frames per second.
  I need a camcorder with great image quality that has maximum dof at f8.

  I thank any one who will be so patient to answer my question.
  Of course, the question is : what camcorder should i buy ?

  Look at the Panasonic AJ-HDC27H, and get yourself a set of color balance cards.
