  HF10 undetected by windows XP SP2

  Hi all,

  new here to this forum. Was wondering if anyone has any help regarding my problem. When I connect my hf10 to my usb port (with the provided cable) nothing happens, computer doesnt detect anything, thus, when I open imagemixer3 (software the camera came with) the option to “save files to pc” is not active (im assuming its not active because the computer isnt seeing the camcorder), so I cant back up anything. I did a google on this problem but couldnt find anything specific. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated,

  p.s. running windows xp HOME Sp2. computer is Pentium, Dual core E5200, 2.5ghz, with 2 gig ram.
