  xl2 lenses? and xl2 vs. XHA1

  quick question…

  i am looking to buy an xl2, can i use canon lenses that work for the canon still cameras on the xl2? Like lenses from my 40D or rebel xti?

  also, in my searching around… overall where do you think i will get better results for short film/documentary filming…. xl2, or an XHA1. i currently own a GL2 and am looking to upgrade.

  Go with the A1 since it’s HD and you’d be future proofing your projects. For myself, I can’t see buying another standard def camera at this stage of the game unless you’re delivering only for the web.
