This is a really broad question. Can you be more specific about the look you’re trying to achieve?

I’m basically just trying to make a animation background for greenscreen in After Effects for instance like moving stripes,flashing colors,etc.

It sounds like you’re new to After Effects. It’s a broad and deep program, and there’s a lot to learn.
