  HDV 25f playback issues and disk based recording

  Hello
  correct me if I’m mistaken but I understand that there is no other way to playback/capture from HDV 24f other than using the XHA1 as a deck.
  I guess people have already tried the sony HDV decks already.
  Is the playback issue same for HDV 25f PAL?
  Also I would like to know if anyone has used the Focus Enhancements Hard Disk recorders with the XHA1. Are there any other hard disk recorders recommended for use with the Canon HDV cameras?

  You can also use the HV-10 or HV-20 as a playback deck. Lame yes, but not only playback, but the image quality of both is excellent & could be used as a POV cam, for example.
