  Canon Elura 100 and FCP–Not happy together?

  Has anyone had trouble getting their Elura 100 to communicate properly with FCP? I cannot seem to get FCP to capture any footage from the camera unless
  A) I plug my camera directly into my desktop computer AND capture directly to my main drive (“Augh! The horror!”)
  B) there are NO additional firewire drives attached to my computer besides the camera
  B) I only capture via “CAPTURE NOW” (it doesn’t recognize any other capture option)

  I can edit the footage just fine once I HAVE CAPTURED it (and moved it to another drive, natch) but on capture, I have nothing but problems. Anyone? Anyone?
