• Adobe After Effects

  Cannot view video footage

  I used to do my work at my college’s computers which use Windows 98. Now I have loaded my project using the same version of After Effects (CS4) onto my computer that uses Windows Vista. At first my project could not find my video which was in the exact location it was in when I did my project at school. So I doubled clicked on the footage in the project folder and told it where to find the file again. Now the video is shown ALL BLACK in the project but the .MP4 video plays fine by itself outside of After Effects. Can anyone help me??

  Do you have QuickTime installed and updated?

  I believe it is. It stills plays the video by itself.
