    Hi All
I am taking a 25 minute piece edited on fcp 7 from original 16mm material 4×3 transferred to HD, 16×9 with pillars. Sequence settings: HDTV 1080i (16×9)Apple pro res 422 HQ, edited on Mac Book Pro 10.8. My DVD studio pro is 3.5.

Please advise. DVD sp keeps saying the materials are “not compatible” after putting them through compressor at native resolution.

I have been told DVD sp does not deal with progressive material, but how to resolve this easily and with best result in dvd sp?

One person has suggested i put it through compressor twice. Others have said DVD sp should be able to deal with progressive 23.98 footage and will adjust. Others that compressor stinks!?

What is the story? and more importantly what is the exact workflow you would recommend?
    All help is welcome.

    best
    Abigail
