  • Have used Compressor; can I now use Toast to make a DVD?

Posted by Vic Noseworthy on February 27, 2013 at 9:24 pm

    Hi folks,
I have just used Compressor to create the two files I need in order to make a DVD. However, DVDSP won’t recognize my external La Cie DVD burner (and my internal burner doesn’t work). I do have Toast Titanium and am wondering can I use the files created with Compressor to make the DVD.
Note: I have tried using the .mov file directly into Toast, but the quality isn’t good. I thought that if I used the Compressor files, I might get better quality.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Vic

    Vic,
    use video>dvd video

    drag&drop the m2v-file.

within the advanced feature deactivate the re-encoding-option and make sure these files have the same name like

    file.m2v
    file.ac3

then it just will multiplex them and wont reencode.

    cheers

    danny
