  • How to add subtitle files to a blue with minimal production?

    Hey all,
I have a Blue-Ray which was made by the post-studio, except that it has no subtitles. The festival I will be sending my film to requires that it has subtitles, and I was trying to think of an easy and cheap way to do this. Now, I already have an .srt file file and also a DVD (with subtitles – so I have the DVD sub files). The question is: is there any way to simply add the subtitle folder or info without changing the Audio and Video files on the Blu-ray?

Like in my imagination (which may be totally wrong) it would be nice if I could just generate the file folder for subs and then drop it on the disk and burn a few more copies. Is this possible? any easy way to do this?

    Appreciate any advice!

Cheap and easy isn’t possible. You need to get an authoring tool like encore to authoring the disc.

Hmmm, but there’s no way to do this without reauthoring the entire disc?
