  • Extend subtitle script lenght (due to 25p to 24p conversion)

    Hi there!

I have a movie that is originally mastered as 25p. I have to make a Blu-Ray for NTSC country, so I did a very simple conversion from 25p to 24p without any frame blending or skipping – I interpreted 25p movie as 24p (slowed it down a bit) and then encoded to h.264.

Movie has subtitle scripts (for Adobe Encore) with 25fps TC. I used Lemony to convert them to 24fps – during this conversion the original movie lenght remained the same as original. Is there any solution how to increase subtitle script lenght overall so that it would match the new lenght of movie? I mean stretching whole subtitle script lenght lineary.

    Thanks!
