  • clicking ‘menu’ during play brings viewer back to beginning of movie

I’m sure I’m overlooking something obvious but I haven’t been able to figure out how I’m supposed to program differently so that pressing “menu” during the movie play will bring the viewer to the menu and not back to the beginning of the movie. As of now, for some reason, clicking “title” does bring the viewer to the menu.
    Any suggestions?

    Lola,

The short answer is that your menu is in the VMG (video manager) on your DVD, and that, by DVD Spec, is hard-wired to the “Title” or “Top Menu” button on the player. To access the menu via the Menu key, the menu must be a title set menu, which is hard-wired to the “Menu” button on the player.

I’m not sure whether you are using Scenarist, iDVD or something in between, so I can’t really advise further.
