Audio is out of sync after I burn dvd in dvd studiopro and idvd
Hi,
I’m hoping someone has an answer to my problem.
I need to burn a dvd with 1hr 45min worth of footage.
I exported a quicktime reference and compressed it in Compressor.
I imported the file and burned a dvd in DVD Studiopro.
When I checked the dvd it was out of sync.
I tested 30 sec and 20 minute clips and these remained in sync.
I have exported the file with and without chapter markers.
I have exported the files in 1/2 hour clips and joined them together.
I also exported quicktimes directly out of final cut.
Can anyone help?
I need to deliver this dvd tomorrow morning!

I’ve started the project from scratch again as some of the files I was exporting were out of sync.
I ‘ve also replaced a jpg I had at the start of the project.
I’ve exported the first hour as a quicktime reference file and it looks ok.
Am now exporting the whole project.
Will update once I have a result!

Thankfully the dvd is now in sync!
All I did was replace the original jpg and deleted the dissolve between the jpg and footage.
That is all I did.
I exported a H264 quicktime and just finished burning the dvd.

I’m glad you got things working. It sounds like the jpg in the video track somehow displaced video vs audio? Not sure, but sometimes we never know why our solution solves the problem!Christopher Smith
