  Photo slideshow DVD is way oversaturated. What can I do to fix it?

  I burned a test DVD of a photo slideshow using iDVD, and the colors when viewing it on a tv are way oversaturated and the images have lost some detail. It looks like there might be some luminance issues as well. All the photos were saved with an NTSC color profile, though that probably doesn’t matter since iDVD seems to take care of that on its own.

  Not having any experience with this, my hack approach to fixing this would be to desaturate the photos prior to burning, in order to compensate for the increase in saturation on the DVD, but there must be a better way. Any idea what I can do to fix this?

  You must apply 2 filters before authoring:
  1 – levels 16..235
  2 – vertical blur 0.5 pix

  I assume you’re talking about applying these filters in Photoshop, but I need you to be a little more specific.

  Am I adjusting the Input or the Output levels?
  Where do I find the option to apply a vertical blur?

  Yes, you need adjust output levels
  Blur – you can blur all image, not only vertical, but horizontal too – if you have 2MPix images or more
