  subtitles in premiere to Encore DVD

  I had a project in Premiere CS3 with a sequence of a video in portuguese language, and a copy of this sequence with subtitles in French and another copy with subtitles in Spanish. I sent the Premiere project to a guy who created a DVD in Encore with the original video and a submenu to choose French or Spanish subtitles.
  The only thing he needed was the project with the sequences, and he said that he could export the subtitles directly to Encore.
  I have tried to figure out how he did this, but I didn´t success.
  Anyone knows how to do this?
