  Run Avid DVD Sonic in VMWare Fusion

  I’m trying to run the PC-only Avid DVD Sonic in VMWare Fusion on my Mac. Installed ok, but can’t see dongle. When I try to connect the USB device (“Rainbow Sentinel SuperPro 6.3.0”) in the virtual machine, it won’t connect. I even tried installing full Media Composer in the XP VM but still no luck. No dongle is seen for either app.

  Any ideas on how I can get my Windows install to recognize the dongle?

  We have the same probleme, it doesn’t work on a MacPro with VMware, But it works on a a Macbook pro…that as BootCamp AND VMware installed

  the next step?
  We will test on a Macpro with boot camp installed, then installe Vmware and check if it works.
