I’m going to push out HD feed to record on external ProRes recorder.

Is there a quality difference in what I get from a traditional HD-SDI vs the HDMI feed from the C100?

The C100 ONLY has HDMI output, you don’t have a choice. 8 bit. Mine works fine with the Ninja 2, but Canon has a “locking” HDMI port (screw terminal) the Ninja does not, so I have “perfect path” cables which are friction locked, better that the standard cables, but I would prefer a screw mount solution.
