  What’s your favorite under-$1000 miniDV camera?

  I own and love a DVX100, but now I’m shopping for an under $1000 miniDV camera to carry around with me almost like a point and shoot still camera. I’m overwhelmed by the sheer number of models.

  I’m totallly ignorant about them, but I’m open to checking out HDV models.

  I’d like the best sound inputs I can get.

  Any suggestions? Love/hate stories?

  Referrals to online articles, evaluations?

  Canon V20. Spend the exrtra money or you’ll be pissed at yourself later.
