    Hi All,
I’m trying to figure out the best way to try to tape some time-lapse footage with an Panasonic SDX900?
I haven’t used this feature on the camera, but I don’t have the RAM option either (next year’s budget)
I believe the camera can tape 10-20secs at a time interval that you can set. But what I’m wondering about is how you work with it in post?
Even if you recorded time-lapse footage with this feature, then you would still need to spend a lot of time pulling out individual frames and lining them up?
I thought about just rolling off a couple of hours of footage (in realtime), then compressing it down…
    Any thoughts?

I use a little program called BTV Pro for doing things like time lapse.
You can run it from a laptop connected to the camera, or record the footage to tape and then transfer later.
You can taylor capture options to fit the type of time lapse you are doing.

I have found that 1 frame per second gives a nice look.

    Good Luck!
