    Hi all:

I am planning to purchase the varizoom’s remote pan and tilt head this week. I was wondering what other people’s experiences with this system and how much better it is compared to the, let’s say glidecam system. Any other similar system out there for the same amount of money and looking as good as the varizoom’s? I am planning to use it with the small PD1170 and Z1 camcorders but also with the heavier Sony and JVC cameras. Will it be able to handle the heavier cameras like the sony DSR570 or the new DSR450 range? How smooth it is to use? Any problems?

Basically, would you recommned it? why?. May be you don’t recommend it, why not?

    Thanks for your input.

Look at the ads…it can only handle up to 20lbs. Depending on your set-up. with a Sony you’ll be close to 20.
I do believe in Varizoom quality wise. Have you looked for a vari forum yet?

    Cheers
