Benefits of Alzak cones? Black vs clear vs other?
How is my beam spread and intensity changed when using a black Alzak cone versus one in clear Alzak?
Is there any data available?

Sorry Gene, but I don’t think you’ll get any help here unless it is accidental.
I had no idea what “Alzak cones” were until I Googled it (always afraid there is something new out there I don’t know about yet), and learned they are recessed home lighting fixtures.
This is a forum for lighting pros in the film and video industry… lighting designers and directors of photography, etc. Most of us wouldn’t know anything about those Alzak fixtures unless we just happened to have them in our houses.
I’d suggest looking for a home improvement forum that has a lighting section, or just contact the manufacturer for specs.
