Created an HD sequence in Avid using 3K R3D RED files.
Just in the testing period, inserted a few clips.
Exported using AAF and no embedding.
Imported into Premier Pro CC 2015.4 and all looks good.
Well except that the sequence AAF is now 3K instead of the HD sequence I started with in Avid.
Any tips on this or do I need to upgrade this client system to 2017?

The reason for this workflow is that the original project was started in Avid using 48fps (23.97 based) RED files.
The client was told that AE/PPro is best for dealing with time warp techniques.
I agree, can’t stand the options in Avid and have had many different plug-ins in the past.
None of them can match AE’s Time Warp option.

This post is in the Premiere section as well.
