  AMA linking to RAW, Cached PMW-F5 footage – Issues!

  Hey Creative Cow people,

  We’ve had a shoot come back, and the DOP has setup the F5 to cache the files at 16GB increments.
  This is due to a file corrupting on a previous shoot (that hadn’t been cached – so roughly 450GB), that was almost lost…

  The issue we’re having now, is that when we AMA the footage into AMC, it’s seeing the files as 2:09:05 durations aka the 16GB file sizes individually.
  I was hoping it would see the clips as spanned and combine them all into one file.

  Is there a way of doing this? The SONY RAW AMC Plugin doesn’t seem to help whether we select it or automatic detect AMA settings…

  Any guesses?

  are you selecting the individual files, or the enclosed folder?

  Selecting the enclosed folder, using both the ‘Autodetect AMA Plug-in’ and the sony specific AMA plugin.
