Missing bin lock icon and file
HI, we have recently upgraded from AVID MC5 to Avid MC8. However, I noticed that the green and red lock icons are missing on the bin. Where are they? Also typically, the auto generated .lck files are not being created. This leads to multiple users have the read and write access at the same time. Is this a setting that I didn’t set correctly?

Sounds like you may have updated MC but did not upgrade software on your Unity/ISIS?

We are using a DDP system for our storage. All our projects being stored and worked off from the DDP. How do I go about upgrading the software?

I know this is an old post, but I am also having a similar issue after upgrading our DDP storage as well as AVID MC and iOS on our macs, was there ever a solution found to this??

Are those perpetual licenses or subscriptions (rentals)? If the latter, are they Media Composer or Media Composer Ultimatte? The basic 200/yr MC subscription does not include shared storage support. MC Ultimate and perpetual MC do.
