  Swapping Out Linked Files for Transcoded Files

  Hello All,

  I am working on a project and to get up and running I linked all of my footage and created my rough, and I then transcoded the footage overnight so I wouldn’t have to wait for it. I am now trying to link the newly created MXF files that have been transcoded to the clips in my timeline that are currently linked Prores files. I can’t seem to figure it out. Any help is appreciated, this maybe a total rookie question, I’m not really sure.

  Typically in this type of workflow you highlight the sequence, transcode with handles that way you are only transcoding what you need. It sounds like you did all the source clips instead?
