  how to import MXF to MC 7.0.4.4 ?

  I just started for the time using MC 7.0.4.4 on OS X v10.9.5.

  I opened new project and set the format:

  Project Type: 1080p/29.97

  Color Space : YCbCr 709

  Raster Dimention: 1920×1080

  AS I tried to import the MXF files, (that been shot with Canon XF100). I was getting an Avid note: ” THe edit rate of the file (23.976000) does not mach the edit rate of the project (19.97000).

  I’m a bit confused what I should do next? What have I have done wrong?

  Well, you either need to make a project that matches the settings as they were shot, and work from that. Or…make that project import them, and then bring the bins into a 29.97 project, if that’s the frame rate you need to deliver.

  BUT…you don’t IMPORT the footage. You need to AMA link to the footage (download the AMA plugins first…) and then consolidate them to your media drive. That’s the proper workflow.
