  Is my MacBook Pro qualified to run MC?

  I want to figure out whether my MacBook Pro is ‘qualified’ to run Media Composer 7 or 8. Thanks for your help.

  Looking at AVID’s chart, my exact machine doesn’t appear on the list but at the same time my machine seems to have all the components counted separately.

  These are the details of my machine:

  MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012, non-retina)
  2.6 GHz Intel Core i7
  8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
  NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB

  I have that exact model, but running more RAM. 16GB. Running OS 10.9.5 and Avid MC 8.3. Using it for a broadcast tv series I’m cutting. Running two additional monitors as well as AJA IoXT. Solid
