    Hey guys,

I need to know how to migrate a project from FCP 7.0.3 into Avid Media Composer 8.

I’ve trawled the internet in search for a copy of Automatic Duck (which I believe is what would work in this situation), but it’s no longer anywhere online. I’ve heard of Boris AAF Transfer, but that too isn’t available anywhere.

I’m now wondering if the only possible way is to:
Use a program like “7toX” to migrate to FCPX. THEN, export an XML from FCPX, bring that into Davicni Resolve, and export some kind of “Avid AAF Roundtrip” thing (as per these instructions):
    https://www.premiumbeat.com/blog/how-to-migrate-timelines-between-video-editing-applications/

But I’m not sure whether or not that will include bins, or just sequences, or if it will even work at all…

Does anyone have a solution for this?

    Thanks,
    Sean
