  exporting a DVC Pro HD file out of avid?

  Hi, is there a way to export a DVC Pro HD file directly out of avid media composer? If not, what is the closest codec?

  Well, what is the format of the file now? Meaning, what codec is it in the Avid? Is it DVCPRO HD? Or DNxHD? Or what? DnxHD is the better format to export as.

  If you are on a windows system, you may have to go buy the dvcpro codec. I think its about 50 bucks.
