  MC 8 sound popping problem

  I’ve transferred my project from 7 to 8. Now the audio makes a loud pop or screeching sound at the audio cuts. I never had this problem in 7, editing and sound was smooth. Is there a bug in 8? Is there a way to fix it? It’s very irritating and time consuming to have to make fades to each audio file on the timeline.

  I’ve never had any issues with audio moving between versions. Do you have an external sound card, could it be driver issues? Have you tried altering the buffer sample in your audio settings?
