No waveform in timeline
Hi there. For some reason I am not getting any waveforms drawn in my MC project.
I have done the following:
The waveform button on the timeline is selected
Clip data = waveform is selected
Show marked waveforms is deselcted
I tried deleting the .avs file jus in case it got corruptNone if it did the trick. There is audio playing, just not producing any waveforms. Not to mention, when i toggle the source/record button for music, no waveforms are drawn either. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Do an audio mixdown. Then you will be able to see the waveform.

Thanks for the quick post.
There is only one track of music (well, two mono tracks). If I’m not mistaken, I shouldn’t have to mixdown to see the waveforms for one piece of music, correct? They were there once before so I am thinking its either a button/checkbox/setting or a bug. Any other thoughts before I mixdown?

Can’t see anything you’ve missed but I am still on MC 7 – you do not have to do a mixdown to see waveforms.

Had the same problem and not only did I have to delete the site settings, but also had to build a new user profile as well in order to get MC 7.0.3 to show the waveforms again.
