MC7 oversaving?
I’ve got a fairly large project, 20 layers of gfx etc that is killing me every time I render a 10 frame dissolve! 4 seconds to render, 30 seconds to save after every change. I have my autosave set to 15 minutes, but the saving after each render is crazy. Maybe I just don’t notice it on small work? The attic edit file of the project is about 220,000kb in size. Any way to lessen the amount of times it saves?

You can turn off that behavior in your settings.
Not in front of a system right now, but I believe its in the Media Creation settings on the render tab.
It’s not a bad thing to leave on when doing long renders, but in your case it’s doing more harm than good.

yes, there is a “save after render” checkbox there.
