Okay, I just don’t know what happened here.
I just consolidated some clips to a new hard drive.
    Everything’s linking up beautifully.
I set is so the old clips are the AMA-linked, and the regular clips are linked to the new mxf files.

    Everything’s going swimmingly.
All the new media shows up.

Then, in the process of checking other media, I connect and disconnect various drives, including the drive that had the originally-linked AMA files.

So, now, suddenly, the new-mxf-linked files are offline.
I try quitting and throwing out the pmr and mdb files, and allowing it to rescan when I reboot.
I try rebooting my machine. Still offline.

I know all those newly consolidated mxf files are in the new target drive, because I checked. All 140gb of them.

So then I try plugging in the original drive that had the camera media from which I AMA’d, and everythign shows up. Except they now show up as linked AMA files, whereas before they showed up in the bin as linked mxf files.

    Anyone have a thought??

    Thanks!!

Okay…I think I fixed the problem.

I just opened a new bin and dragged the MDB file into there and all the mxf files linked up in that bin and also in the original bin.

    Phew!
