  AVID HD to SD XDCAM workflow

  HI!
  In very near future I ll be editing a 4 camera political tv programm. It`s aimed at local TV station, wich still broadcasts in SD. I have 4 cams – 2 EX-3 wich can only record in HD and 2 EX-1r. I planned to shot it on 1080p and later multicam it or edit it directly on a timeline (due to budget here is no mixing at all). I`ll export rendered sequence into XDCAM broadcast PDW1500. Now…
  Firstly I cannont export sequence on ama can i ?
  Secondly – should I drop 1080p for 720i since PDW1500 cant ingest progressive material and since I have like 4 hours to deliver the show after we finish recording (it will be aired same day it was shot).
  Thirdly, I plan to edit it directly on the set with macbook pro and export it to PDW1500 XDCAM – should I use a ilink or SDI from ultrastudio extreme? Can I maybe ingest an HD sequnce and shrink it to SD in real time?
  I`m really confused…
