Using Dialnorm with Avid SYmphony Nitris for final outputs
Well,it’s been a couple of years since I posted this,and between my company merging and moving facilities twice, using Dialnorm in our AVids has been put off (at least for me) until now.
Once again, in a short time,our editors are going to be tasked with using Dialnorm WITH our PC/Win7/Avid Symphony NItris’ during all outputs…whether shortform or longform.
Management is aware of the extra time this will take,but are forging ahead with this plan anyway. We haven’t seen which particular equipment we will be using yet. I assume there will be the usual minimum amount of training.
I cannot find ONE tutorial online that explains using Dialnorm along with Avid. Any hints for my particular situation? Any links?
