  P2 AMA-linked Video often looks washed out after compression

  I recently started noticing that sometimes (or maybe all the time, but not always as noticeably) the portions of my sequences that have an AMA-linked P2 source look washed out after compression. The strange thing is that graphics that have been laid in on top of the P2 media look just like they did in Avid.

  I am editing with MC6.0.1 on a Windows 7 HP workstation. The video is stored as P2 volumes on an attached raid and linked via AMA (“Link to AMA Volume”) for editing. I export DNxHD and then use Sorenson Squeeze 7 to compress to H.264.

  Any ideas on what might be happening here?
