  MC6 & Kona 3 – Problems digitizing

  We are testing out MC6.0.1 on Mac with Kona 3.

  Everything seems to be going swimmingly except we have intermittent issues with digitizing off tape with an error: “Audio/Video is unexpectedly no longer coming into the system”.

  Upon restart of MC it digitizes fine in SD and HD for a while but eventually starts reporting this error.
  Also, can’t seem to get it to upconvert thru Kona (from Digibeta), same message pops up. I am feeding Avid proper sync as needed (trilevel for HD, black for SD).

  We did a clean install of Lion and new install of 6.0.1 (after uninstallign 6.0) per Avid’s instructions.

  Anybody else experiencing this?

  I updated…but haven’t tried to recapture. I shall as soon as I can. I am running Symphony 6.0.1 and the Kona 3. But when I updated I did the scorced earth approach and reinstalled the OS from scratch, then the software. I find I have less issues that way. Takes a day, but…

  I’ll report back.

  Hi

  I am having problems digitising analogue in on the kona 3. I am trying to record commentary via my working mixer and mic.

  Any ideas.
