  MC 5.5.3.2 won’t import stills properly on Mac Pro 10.6.8

  When importing RGB stills (of a variety of formats) they come in incorrectly with the wrong colours & with sparkly edges:

  Red becomes Cyan
  Green becomes Magenta
  Blue becomes a muddy green
  black becomes grey
  white becomes black…

  The only way around it is to use AMA for the stills – which isn’t what I want to do.
  If I import a tiff with an alpha, the alpha works but the image is grey with sparkles… what’s going on?

  Anybody seen this & know how to solve it?

  never seen it.

  did you check your import settings?

  did you try using Avid Pan and Zoom plugin to bring in the stills?
