  Media offline in TL not connecting to masterclip MC 5.5

  I’m not sure why (or how) but some of the clips on my timeline went offline. When I do a “find bin” it goes to the file in my ama bin, which has similar log names minus the “sync” in the names of the clips it should be referencing. Now I can find the proper file but can’t get it to relink to it. I tried hiding the AMA folder in the finder in another folder, but that didn’t work. Any help would be appreciated. Btw, the actual master clip is not offline only in the timeline. So there is no linking issue with the actual media.

  did you try the relink option?

  right-click your sequence and select relink.
  make sure the bin with linked master clips is open too
  in the relink window uncheck “match case …” and check “allow relinking of AMA…”
