    Hi Everyone,

    i am editing some xd cam ex 1080i footage i need to know the slow motion mode for hd 1080i footage.I have tried the default slow motion but it was not good (ie not smooth,juddery or jerky}.Any help welcome.Thanks.

    If you are using Timewarp, I’d suggest you try Blended Interpolated as the render method. I find it the best bang for the buck in terms of quality vs render time. If you need the absolute best quality, try fluid motion, though render times go up dramatically. If not using Timewarp for slo-motion (i.e. fit to fill), promote the effect to timewarp and follow the above.

    The default method is Duplicated Field, which discards half of each frame. Both Fields will cause stutters when slowing down interlaced sources. The better options would be Interplolated, Blended Interpolated, or FluidMotion.
